Malacca Day Tour

Malacca was once the center of Asia; some says the center of the world. A famous European poet once said that "he, who holds Malacca, holds the throat of Venice". Founded in the 1400's by Sumatran prince, Parameswara, Malacca prospered as an international harbor due to its advantageous location.

But today, Malacca is the center of Malaysia tourism industry. Our tour will take you through the journey Malacca city which have many eye-catching sights such as attractive modern and traditional architecture. It is easy to get around by foot or you can even rent a trishaw to explore the city.

The Baba and Nyonya culture is prominent in Malacca, which contributes to much of Malacca cultural landscape. Although the city is a mix of old and new with historical buildings standing side by side with ultra modern shopping centres it retains this seamless blend of cultures.

It goes without saying that a trip to Malacca would be imperfect without a leisurely walk down Junker Street. It is a small street in Chinatown in the city centre where historic mausoleum of Hang Jebat - named after second most famous warriors in history of Malacca - can be found.
