Elephant Sanctuary Tour


One of the uniqueness of Malaysia is how well preserved the wildlife is. You can find many example of this in Malaysia and Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre is one. The centre is a base for Elephant Relocation Team which is an effort to preserve the species, which began in 1974.


The tour will take you on a drive through the Malaysian countryside or 'Kampong' before arriving at the orphanage for elephant. There are a quite a few of interesting thing to watch along the way; you can find stalls lining the roadside selling local fruits and delicacies and you can also find magnificent view of Malaysia countryside.


Once reaching the conservation centre, you will learn how the Department of Wildlife 38; National Parks, Malaysia manages the conservation of the elephants and its habitats. There are plenty of activity prepared for visitors here in the sanctuary; video about the situation of the elephant and the troubles facing them, watching and join the elephant handlers to feed them fruits and wash them in the river or maybe you would want to ride on one of the elephant and swim together with them in the river.


The tour ends in the afternoon and on the way back to Kuala Lumpur, we will take you to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Remarks: Minimum 2 Adults

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, hat or cap and bring along a towel with spare clothes
in case you get wet or dirty.
